Welcome to R2R and back to the salty world Mark. Wow that’s a big tank. If you have the finance and the space I’d say go for it. Lots of knowledgeable and helpful people here who will support and advise you when needed.

Hi forum folks,
I'm Mark. I had a nano reef a number of years ago, but with a house move on the horizon, I'm going to have the space for a new and much larger tank. I'll have the space for 1000 litres (264 gal) although I'm not sure I want to go quite that big. I'm thinking something more in the 650-800 litre range (171-211 gal), but that might grow!
In terms of techniques of reef keeping and the gear involved, I'm about 10 years out of date, so have a lot of reading to do!
Things that I really need to look into are which tank make (or custom), what lights, and I'm considering a Triton method approach. All opinions on any of the above are greatly appreciated!
Hi Mark and Welcome!

Glad you joined

Thanks for the warm welcome! Just waiting on getting the keys to the new house so I can get in and start measuring!
