Bristle worms will get different responses from different people. Most will say a good part of CUC. I have them and although I don't like seeing them, they serve a great purpose. They eat left over food. So the more you feed, the more you'll have. Their numbers will come and go.
If the worms are white and more like the width of a thread, with tiny hairs could be Dorvilleidae. They are good as well. Did it look like this?
