13 years ago I had a 55g saltwater tank. It did very well until I lost it all while on bed rest and no one but me knew how to take care of it.
We moved near Myrtle Beach a few years ago and I recently landed a job on the beach which I walk daily before work.
This is where that nagging idea for another tank started.
I wanted to do something until I could get my ideal 55g tank (or greater) so I got a 29g from a friend and set it up with NSW (unfiltered), live rock, and live sand from the beach.
Some may not agree with this approach but my kids and I wanted to observe and learn about the things we have around us that we can't see.
A few hours after starting to set up the tank we saw and instant ecosystem with trails in the sand, pairs of tenticles, etc...
This tank will stay as is for a while, my kids and I enjoy finding something new each time we look at it.
Have no idea what these little tenticles are from.
