Hi, Steve here. I have been a reefer for about the last seven years or so. I started with a 28G JBJ Nano Cube and now I have a 45G rimless cube. Over the past seven years I have been a very lazy reefer in the fact that I often neglected water changes and did the minimal amount of tank maintenance. These poor habits were born from a lack of understanding of what a thriving reef needs, and a lack of financial commitment.
Recently, I have decided that I need to drill my tank and install a sump, run a refugium, and have a proper reef tank. I will start a build thread that kind of starts where my tank was when I realized I wanted to make a change.
I have a ton yet to learn, and I am looking forward to tapping in to all your collective experience.
