Welcome to Reef2Reef!

You should start a Tank Thread so we can keep track of your build and watch it grow and change. You would also get a cool Tank Thread badge under your name!

Hi Im Bill,
I have been running saltwater tanks for approximately 40 years. My old Clarity Plus from about 40 years ago is still up and running in our living room. I actually took care of a fish room when I was younger. Our tank is plumbed into the house, water changes are simply a matter of opening a valve and turning on a pump to bring up fresh saltwater from the basement. Orp, ph and conductivity have controllers with digital readouts on the wall above the tank. Trickle filter with bioballs from way back still in use, in sump heater and a Penguin chiller mounted overhead in the aquarium closet for summer days. Have a Korallin sulfur denitrator but thats too maintenance intensive lol.
