I would recommend making sure to get a good tester for phosphates like a Hanna ulr phosphate tester and either dose a little or feed a little heavier to keep your phosphates between .05 and 1. Ish . What ever you do it is highly recommended to keep your phosphates from zeroing out as this will lead to Dino’s . Nitrates shouldn’t zero out as well . As far as long hair algae , nutrient control , Mexican turbo’s , tuxedo urchins are a few good options to control it along with manual removal with your hands . Good luck :cool:
