They can tell the lights are dimming? Last light I had in 2010 was home made led with MH... it was on or off.

Noticed the last few nights hour before lights out tentacles come out and they shrink.

Aqua Forest is supposed to be good. I use Instant Ocean Reef Crystals. Have used Instant Ocean in the past. Certain salts are "better" formulated for corals.

I used instant ocean by the pallet back when it was the only salt. I got this with the tank. After that I planned on switching back to either regular IO or reef crystal

I'm down to about 1/4 of the Instant Ocean. I picked up 2 boxes of the Nyos to use next but I don't like how it both has different labels of parameters. Which salts do you think are "better" formulated for corals?
