Give it a 30 minute bath in Citric acid and water. Could be very fine matter in the pump causing too much friction.

Try the acid & water soak as said above Frankly don't buy these used... They are reasonably priced, you shouldn't keep putting yourself through the headache. Your prolly are being sold junk from the get go.

Agreed. Jebao is priced where they are almost disposable after a couple years.

Actually thank you for your replies. The seller gave me the wrong power supply. I was able to use a power supply from another Jebao 12000 butnit did not come on. The indicator keeps giving me a code for impeller not working. There is nothing wrong I can see with the impeller. I took it out and cleaned it all the best that I could. Its not swelled or cracked. The pump did kick on for a few seconds after I added the power supply but them stopped and gave the impeller code. I did try the impeller from the other pump also. I don't think I'll get a redund but I he might exchange it.
