BTA was just introduced Saturday. Set its foot. Moved a little and settled down. Last night it was in a place and hasn’t moved for a while. This morning it was gone and found it in a wave maker. What now? Nem is toast. Water not cloudy. About to check aquarium levels.

I would move it to a low-light, low-flow area, and put it in an acclimation box or holder if you have one. In the future, I would get an anemone guard for your wave maker to prevent it from happening again. @OrionN can give you more tips on how to care for your anemone to ensure it recovers properly

As far as making sure my tank is ok. What do I need to do. I just woke up and this is the first time for me to
I would do a water change. 20% should be fine. Double check your parameters too to make sure nothing is elevated

I think you should just disconnect the wave maker and place it on the rock, and the anemone will self extract itself.
Best of luck

What size tank?

Unless it’s been stuck for a while and you have dying anemone pieces floating in a small tank, I would avoid changing out water. Seems to be added stress to an already stressed our anemone.

If there are decaying pieces in the tank I would remove as much as I could and then initiate a water change.

I also like the idea of letting the anemone crawl out in its in if possible.
