yes defer should be one the last line.
Save it then reboot the system making sure you have plugged the aquabus cable back in,
Then see if it does it again.
Ok! All fixed! I plugged the aquabus back, and reboot the system. Hopefully this works. Thank you so much for the help

if that fails
add this statement after Defer

Min Time 0:15 Then ON

Between these 2 statement all the short lived events and nuisance alarms should go away

Hello,

I will admit up front I don’t have one, but people keep saying to get one. From seeing all this and others it’s easier to this stuff just manually. I’m sorry I couldn’t offer more words of wisdom. Maybe you can block the apex from contacting your phone from the phone. Maybe mark as spam or block the number if the other ideas others have offered don’t work. I can’t speculate what would cause this but I will agree it would drive me bat crazy and I would just unplug it. Hope things work out better with it though.

Sincerely
Sarah

I was on this bandwagon but apex has come through CLUTCH!!! For me no price on having a monitor not necessarily apex but something that can give you a head start on things

Generally I'm one of the last people to defend Apex stuff, but I can offer some insight that might at least make you reconsider a controller in general.

One of the things about Apex is it looks really intimidating to somebody who doesn't have a coding background. If you do, it's honestly really easy. If you don't though it can be downright scary.

The nice thing about stuff like this is all you need to do is create a thread here or possibly even contact APEX themselves and people are always very willing to help. Even I have to admit their CS is pretty good.

So while setting it up is still challenging (thought it has gotten a lot better with the tasks menu) once setup properly you don't have to worry about it anymore. The other great thing for just BASIC setup is there are videos ALL OVER youtube. Reefers here want to see other reefers succeed, so if you do eventually decide to get one, all you have to do is ask and folks will help get you straight.

most of those alarms are just noise and interference. these are not real threatening alarms. with the few statements mentioned above all the noise can be rid of still keeping system safe.

Hello,

Ahh yeah about that whole coding thing, I’m 25 and I just started using smart phone like three months ago and still haven’t figured that bloody thing out yet. I was privileged to beta test the newer icecap 3k, which is easy if you do not read the directions. They were horrible, and I was more confused afterwards. Which I have an excellent reading and comprehension level. I still think some Martian wrote those instructions lol.

I will pm you to continue the conversation. I don't want this to muck up people looking for alarm help.

Which programming language does APEX primarily utilize? It looks like it's procedural in a way since you can basically add your own IF statements. Did you REPLACE the ALD module? If so, then this could actually be some sort of bug in the code.
