Hey all!

I'm looking for anyone that can help me here, but especially @robsworld78. If you're available, you've helped me before in this thread. I'm still using Robo Tank and still really like it. I'm working on setting up some dosing pumps, and have a minor issue I hope there's a way around.

Let me start by saying, I didn't realize how Robo-Tank handles dosing pumps. I purchased two 12v peristaltic pumps, connected them to the 12v out ports on the Robo Tank Lighting and DC module, and I set them up as a "12v DC Outlet" (same way I setup my 12v ATO pump). This works fine, I can manually turn the dosing pumps on and off via Robo Tank; cool! I had thought it would be simple enough to create a schedule that would turn the pumps on for set period of time, and run at the same time everyday, but I don't think I see a way to do that, unless I'm missing it?

I also installed a float switch in each of my dosing reservoirs, which I plugged into the Sensor module, to alert me when the volume was low.

I now see that if I set the pumps up as a "Dosing Pump" in Robo Tank, it appears to be easy to create a schedule to dose automatically every day. I see other advantages like the pumps can be calibrated for more precision, and Robo Tank can alert me when the volume is low without the need for extra float switches; cooler!

I'm trying to set my pumps up this way and the specific problem I'm having is that Robo Tank defaults to a 250mL dosing reservoir, and I'm using 1000mL containers. In the settings I can see where you can up the value of the reservoir, but it starts at 250, I click the "up arrow", it asked me if I want to refill the res, and I answer yes, then it goes to 251. I click up again, it again asks me if I want to refill the res, I again say yes, and it goes to 252..... I think you see where I'm going with this lol! Do I really have to do that 750 times to get the volume in Robo Tank up to 1000mL? Keep in mind I have two 1000mL containers, so that's 1500 times through that cycle; please tell me there's an easier way 😬

Side question, would I have been better off to set my ATO pump up as an "ATO pump", and not like a "DC outlet"? My ATO setup using an optical sensor and a back up float switch has been working very well since early March, I'm just wondering if I'm missing any Robo Tank functionality like I was with my dosing pump setup?

Thanks in advance!

Well, carpal tunnel be danged!!!

I've click, click, clicked my way to a volume of 500 mL on both my dosing reservoirs in Robo Tank, and I think that's good enough 🙂

I can still add a liter of dosing solution to each container, and then when Robo Tank says it's near empty, I can just hit "refill" and go for anther 500 mL.

@robsworld78 if there's NOT already a better way to change the dosing container volume in Robo Tank, I would really encourage you to try to add this functionality in future releases please and thank you 🙏 😬 🤔

I just want to say again how much I am liking Robo Tank!!!
