Are they bad?Could be hydroids shooting off too. You can see what appears to be polyps circled. Should go away eventually.

Yeah I have had a problem with that but I am talking about the clear polyp things shooting off of itlooks like green hair algae to me. while it's not the end of the world (yet) it's not a good thing but there are many things that can contribute to it......... #1 reason is high nutrients (NO3/PO4)......... new tank syndrome.... improper spectrum lighting..........
It’s supposed to be a neon nepthea, how do I get it to reattach to something?They could be baby aiptasia, could be hydroids, really hard to tell. I wouldn't worry about it, but if that's the base of a kenya tree just cut it at the base and throw away the plug, it will survive fine

Looks like algae to me just carefully scrape it off.
