I'd like to dose our 40b to elevate phosphate that's been trending very low, .0 -.03 measured w Hanna. Our nitrates trend between 10.0 and 20.0 and would like to balance them.
I purchased sodium phosphate dibasic powder suggested by @Miami Reef in the diy page. I'd like to raise our phos around .10 -.015 to start, then monitor.
Thanks for helping

The DIY thread recipe from herr: https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/diy-phosphate-dosing-recipe.1109919/

Dissolve 3 g of Sodium Phosphate Dibasic (Na₂HPO₄) in 1 L of freshwater.

Dose 1 mL per 100 L to raise PO₄ by 0.02 ppm.

Goal: Raise nitrate by 0.10 ppm in a 40-gallon tank using a solution that raises 0.02 ppm per 1 mL per 100 L.

Convert gallons to liters:
40 gal x 3.7854 = 151 L

Figure out how many times more than 0.02 ppm you want to increase:
0.10 / 0.02 = 5

Multiply your tank volume (in L) by this factor:
151 x 5 = 755

Divide by 100 (because the recipe is per 100 L):
755 / 100 = 7.55

So you’d need 7.5 mL of the stock solution to raise your 40 gallon by 0.10 ppm.
