I sold a 4 "welso and a 5" round warpaint to my dad. They haven't opened like when I had them. They went from a 110 tank with a 6 bulb t5 to a 300 with China led. They were in light he moved them around. I don't have a clue what else to try I had awesome luck with them the war paint was 2.5 inch when I got him. I'm lost tho any ideas?!

I feel it will be the acclimation change to lighting and possibly changes to chemistry

Those guys like low light and medium flow. Was that what you had for them in your tank? Also need to compare water parameters between the two tanks and make the necessary adjustments.

It took my welso 2 weeks to open it came from metal halide to Chinese box and now 2 years later it's about 9 inches across when expanded and bigger than a softball after it eats. It also didn't eat or show its tentacles for a few weeks

It's been in his tank for about 3 weeks. 2 of his fish got ich and decided the scully was a perfect spot to scratch... It went from a 6 bulb t5 to Chinese black boxes. I hope that they recover. I feel bad that they look like crap.
