Help with amazeballs goni

I was given an amazeballs goni to try and save for a friend. You can see from under the hawkfish, that the polyps are sunken in. It's been that way for about a month. Just curious if any of you have had luck recovering amazeballs (as i know they're a pain in the balls sometimes).

What are the parameters of your tank - are you dosing anything? is there adequate floor? I'm not sure that this 'type' of goniopora is much different than any other. Some people suggest Iron/Manganese supplements can help them - as can 'gonifood'.
