I have the 36 inch fixture with an AP700. Absolutely love it. However there is room for improvement. What would you like to know :)

I'm stuck between the ap700 or the 2 360w.was thinking for a 48in tank maybe the 2 360w would give me better cover and par like the idea of a t5 led setup but I'm just not sure what to do I'm still pretty new to this my tank is only about 6 months old I'm currently using a aqua medic ocean light plus lol.dose the aquatic life fixture come with a mount for the ap700?

What are your coral plans? Mixed reef, soft and lps, or sps dominant?

I have two A360WEs and two 48" T5s over my 75g and have been very happy with the results (SPS dominant tank). The additional T5s from the fixture would help with the added depth of the 90g and would work out well for your application. I favor the modularity of the A360s over the A700 but that is largely personal preference.

For what it's worth, I ran with the A360s only for the first year and had no issues with a mixed reef (LPS dominant with a few SPS up high).

At some point mainly sps for now I have a mostly mixed with some lps and soft
If your intention is to go sps dominant eventually, id get either 2 A360we, or two AP700. All going to depend on what features you want. If you want external controlability via apex or reef keeper id do the 360, otherwise the only way to effectively control the ap700 is with the kessil app. Two AP700's over that tank though, mixed with the T5 would be BOSS, and is Ryan at Bulk Reef Supplys preferred and go to lighting option.

This is a 48" long tank (provided it's a standard 90g), there is no reason in the world to go with four A360s with supplemental T5s. With four T5s, two A360s is plenty. Two A700s wouldnt be boss, it would be a waste of money and energy.

The 4 a360 was a typo. Sorry about that. I've corrected it. And I suppose with the t5s thrown in there a single ap700 unit would be able to do it. Kessil recommends no more than 36 inches for sps dominant, however, I assume that's not factoring in the t5s as well. So you would be correct, my apologies.
