Help with microscope identification

Hi!
Been dealing with a red stringy nuisance since march, came along low nutrients. Got these pictures with a 40x microscope at work. Good enough for an id? Think I know what it is, but don't want to introduce bias to answers. Thanks in advance!

I would say cyanobacteria from the Oscillatoriaceae family - maybe mixed with some from the genus spirulina. However - it is difficult to say - some looks like they have heterocyst's - but is difficult to judge from these pictures. Here is a picture and this below is from Wikipedia

With the quality of the photo I was hoping to be able to differentiate between dinos and cyano, not getting close to the exact family. A big thank you for not only the answer, but also the picture for future reference!

Red stringy stuff definitely sounds more like cyanobacteria than dinoflagellates.
