SO I've been trying to take picture of my tank for a while but can't figure out how to get rid of the green hue without photoshop. Here's an example without photoshop:

And here's one after photoshop. What setting am I missing?

try adjusting your white balance on your camera. you may have to play with it. most of the time there is an auto, daylight, cloudy, flourescent, incandescent, ect...mine has many more, but it all depends on your camera. just find the white balance info in your manual.

If you can shoot in the RAW format, it'll be easier to adjust the white balance and make that green cast go away. If your camera cannot produce RAW files, look in the owners manual for directions about how to set a custom white balance. Using a clean area of sand will usually give you a reasonably accurate white balance.
