help with RODI system.

Personally, I'd think you'd want to first figure out why your current setup isn't producing anywhere near normal results from the single RO membrane.
For sure, don't introduce new possible problems before you solve the first one.
But when you get it figured out, adding a second membrane has advantages.

Ok, here is an update. I found out that my water suppler is adding chloramine to the water. I installed a new brs carbon filter that is rated for chloramine since the I bought a few weeks was not rated.for chloramine. . Rinsed carbon filter well by disconnecting membrane housing and going directly into the drain from the carbon housing. I replaced the RO membrane with a new Dow film tec rated at 75 gpd. Plumbed the brs dual meter to read directly before and after the ro housing. The input is 354 and output is 19. Still below the rated rejection rate of the new membrane.

For a back up, installed my rodi buddy system and with a new di canister it reads zero tds using the same brs dual probe tds meter after the di section.

I’m beginning to think my brs system is defective, but I don’t see how it could be. Also, as stated in earlier post…the ro membrane housing is also brand new.

Any advice on how to proceed is really appreciated.

Puzzling.
The only thing that would kind of make sense to me is if the seals on either end of the RO membrane aren't sealing perfectly so maybe allowing a small amount of water to bypass the membrane and mix in with the product water coming out.
*maybe something like the plastic chamber being deformed, either the whole chamber or the sleeve where the small end of the RO unit has the smaller O-rings
