Help with sick fish

Have two fish a tang and a clown that look like they have ashy skin if that makes any sense ? I noticed the tang with it few weeks ago but eats good but noticed it getting worse and seems to be spreading to other fish what should I do

Get a separate tank setup asap or some plastic tubs because you're going to need them due to the medications that 1 of the more experienced will suggest. You're dealing with something pretty nasty I hate to say. Also be prepared to remove all fish and for your tank to sit fallow.

If it looks like ashy skin it's a high possibility you are dealing with velvet. Will definitely need to put in QT asap and start treating. @Humblefish has some great treatment plans for most any desease.

I could be wrong but I believe brook is mainly found on clowns which is why I went with velvet because of the tang.

That looks more to me like brook but I am not the best at ID from photos. Are the fish displaying any other symptoms? Heavy breathing? Swimming into the flow or hiding from light?

They eat good when I walk in from work all be at corner of tank ready to eat I be leave they have facal recognition they don't do that for my girlfriend

I may be wrong but I believe if it was velvet... they would be dead already. Tangs had this for a few weeks

It looked like lateral line on the tang at one time but but might just been me
