Okay so first,
I cant post pictures of the coral im about to ask you about...due to my phone being dumb.

I recently bought a coral piece from someone on craigslist...like a mystery piece of coral for 5$ well....after doing some research....i think it might be great star coral...maybe? Idk i cant find anything like it..no pictures or anything...... I can email you a picture....i really need to find out what it is...i dont want to accidently harbor illegal coral.. And plus its letting out a weird long string thing.. Some one pleaaaseeee pleeaasseee help. You guys aree ssssssooooo smart and work way better then google ;)

The long string could be its feeder tentacles. Some are longer than others. I know galaxea coral can get some pretty long ones. I know that doesnt really answer your question but it might get you in a direction.
