Not sure what is going on, phosphates are 0 and just to be sure I am running phosgaurd.I just did a water change and scrubbed the some alage off the rocks, with a tooth brush, but that just seemed to help spread it every where. I have a 32 gallon Biocube with the intank media basket and refugeum and have chaeto in the refugeum. I use my own rodi water. The aquarium is about 3 months old.

I would not run phosguard yet. IMO you are in danger of getting dinos with new system. Don’t want to go there.

Just let the algae grow. It’s gonna happen.

Nice tank.

The tank is pretty bare. The rock is still new with no growth on it but that bright green stuff. Give it another 3 months and it will look totally different. You might think about adding a few corals to block some of the light your algae is using.

Okay the only reason I added phosgaurd, was because someone had told me that the alage could have been consuming the phosphates, throwing off the results.
