Yea I really need to get a new phone for better videos and pics... iPhone 7+ is a relic now. Lol
Things are looking great! I just upgraded from the iPhone 7 to the XS and what a difference for pics! You wont regret the spend on this upgrade for pics alone.

Also no matter what you get, grab one or a couple of THESE lenses for it. Next best thing to a dslr in your pocket.

I'm getting the macro lens this summer I'll give a review of it on here.

Wow, just binged your thread. Impressive setup. A really nice blend of DIY and a no-compromise approach to the fundamental equipment. Following!
Thank you so much!!

Tank is looking great!

Stay warm.
Thank you!! Ohh the snow pics is my house up in Tahoe haha, I live in Silicon Valley in CA, like 35 mins from San Francisco. It’s starting to warm up a bit, high 60’s lately. It was very cold up there though! We kept the fire going the whole time haha.

@Hemmdog - you ever figure out if the 40B is tempered or not?
No not yet :(

To my thread readers,
My first reef, my biocube 32, has started to have a leak out of the bottom.
B76359DA-32C4-4151-93D0-6BC748BA3B1F.jpeg

As a result I’m doing a budget build minor upgrade size wise to a 40g breeder.
So far I have:
40b- dollar per gallon sale $52 w/ tax
Eshopps M external overflow w/ glass drill bit-$119
Jebao dct 4000 return pump-$64
Jebao SOW 4 wavemaker (2)- $118
15 ft purple pvc 1 inch - $18
Hydroseal Canada true union ball valve- $17
Trigger Emerald 26 sump- $150 (used)
Jager Heater 150watt- $26
Kessil 360x - on the biocube
Reef octopus eSsence 130 skimmer - was on my 90g before I upgraded to a curve 7 elite

Things I still need
Locline
Spears gate valve 1 inch slip x slip
Tunze 3155 universal ato (eventually, not urgent)
