Welcome! I have also lurked for quite a while after moving over from freshwater, and I'm still pretty new to reefing even though I have had a small tank for about year. The more I am on here the less I realize I know! Everyone is super nice and helpful.

Welcome to R2R and the salty world. Take things slowly. Lots of knowledgeable and helpful people here who will support and advise you when needed.

Thanks guys! (sorry for the late reply... southern hemisphere-ers were sleeping for the last 12 hours :)).

I'm sure I'll use all your collective knowledge very soon... be on the lookout for an upcoming 'no idea what I'm doing dump thread'!

Hi all,

Like many other now saltwater enthusiasts, I'm keeping freshwater and have now decided to move to the dark side. Have been lurking around on this forum for a while, and finally decided to take the advantage of all the amazing intellect available here to help me start my (hopefully) future tank. Expect a whole lot of questions (most of which will be dumb), a whole lot of enthusiasm (most of which will be misguided) and a budget build some time in the future!
LOL, the Dark Side! Certainly fes like it from time to time! Greetings and Welcome to our collective obsession!

Welcome to R2R!
