Would a medium to large sized hermit eat a fire shrimp? My shrimp has come up missing and 2 hermits are the only things I have added lately. He was a beautiful shrimp and I am not sure if I should get a new one or not.

They wouldn't eat him unless he was dead or near dead. Are they blue legs/scarlets? I have 3 scarlets that are 3"+ and they never bother my skunk or sexy shrimps.

To tell you the truth I'm not sure what kind they are I do have some scarlet and a zebra the shrimp was very active coming out whenever I fed the fish always seemed healthy just came up missing one day. thought maybe he had molted and was just hiding but haven't seen him in days. found part of his tail in one of the powerheads. I do have a brittle starfish, he's black with brown stripes and I was told he is harmless.

Looks like they are Hairy Crabs. Now my Coral Band has come up missing. The only other thing I can think would possible do it is my Brittle Star but I was told the type I had wouldn't do this (black with brown stripes).
