New to saltwater tanks, I have a 10gal nano that's been going well for about 4 months looking to get into soft corals soon any tips would be more than welcome

If you had had the tank going for 4 months I would say you are ready to try some soft corals as long as you have a light for it already.

What type of soft coral are you wanting to try? I'm a big fan of zoas and ricordea mushrooms. Just remember a lot of soft corals can spread quickly so if you put them on your main rock they could take over.

Was looking at zoas, xenia, and maybe a toadstool leather. Still kinda researching everything, the variety and names can get a little overwhelming lol. It's a small tank with two clownfish and a cleaner shrimp so I'm trying to make sure anything I add will get along with everyhing

Be very carefull with xenia as it spreads like crazy. I would absolutely not put that on the main rock work. However even if it's isolated to an island it can drop off babies that will float around to find somewhere to grow.

A toadstool leather would be awesome! You may want to run carbon periodically because they can release toxins. And zoas are great too! I like building gardens of then to grow in between my other corals

ricordia, yumas, finger leathers, toadstools, and clove polyps are my recommendations cheap, easy, and grow pretty fast but not invasively
