I'm new to saltwater tanks, I've only done freshwater tanks in the past and have been successful so I have some knowledge, this is obviously a big jump for me. so I started small with a 24 gallon. I've got 24lbs of live rock in the tank with 20lbs of live coral/sand mix and on day 5 of the cycle process using the shrimp method. Several hitchhikers that came along and are still thriving, some good some bad. I'm open to all suggestions as I set this tank up and fully prepare it to hopefully be great.

!!! Welcome to R2R !!! Nice looking tank. What are your plans or ideas for stocking?

I'm not sure yet, I'd like to do soft coral and maybe a couple small fish in time but I'm open at the moment with ideas.

Thanks for signing up and introducing yourself.

Lots of great reefers here that have many different aspects and knowledge.

Mostly, we are "all" apart of the Reef 2 Reef family and we hope you feel at home.
