My name is Chris. I have owned many freshwater tanks but decided to try out a saltwater aquarium about 4 years ago. The first year of having the tank I did just about everything wrong (yeah that was me). I was so excited, I didn't listen to all the good advice and learned the hard way. After my first year, I rebuilt, slowed down and learned from my mistakes. I now have a successful and thriving reef tank.

I'm running a Red Sea MAX-E 170. My setup contains mushrooms, frogspawn, leathers, acans, zoas, chalices and a gold torch which is home for a pair of storm clowns. I also have a Yashi goby and pistol shrimp that hide out in my rock work.

Looking forward to learning more from the community. I'll post some pics soon.
