Hello everyone,

My name Jeff and I am finally getting back into the hobby. I had a 55 gal FOWLR tank years back and fell in love with saltwater. Well, some time has passed and I have moved into a new home with my beautiful wife and decided to try my hand at a reef tank.

Here is my 29 gal setup.

Still waiting on my NICREW HyperReef 100W lighting (tossed on an old canopy light for now) and ATO but I am semi happy so far with the current aqua scape. Excited to dive back into this addicting hobby. I'll post updates later when the tank is further along.

Welcome to R2R! Looks good so far. Do you plan to put some live rock in? It really goes a very long way towards a healthy tank. I look forward to seeing it come together.

Welcome, Jeff! And welcome back!

Don't forget to start your tank thread!

Awesome- Welcome back!

Corals are the best. They are like having children. I started with a 29g when my buddy handed my some corals and fish many years ago. I put an old 150 halide over it until I upgraded to a 40breeder that I drilled for a sump.

Does that tank have an overflow and sump?
