Tank is running for 3 weeks as of yesterday. Testing for high ammonia and high nitrites, little to no nitrates. What should I do moving forward? Thanks

Thanks for the replies. I have 2 clownfish in the tank, it won’t hurt them?
If you actually have ammonia in the tank that (ammonia) will kill them.

How long have you had them? What test kits are you using?

Oh.

You need to do a big waterchange, and keep doing them until the tank can process ammonia.

Is there someone who can look after the fish for you.?
I did a 50% water change and my test results didn’t really change much… I am using the saltwater master test kit

API?

Please take your water to a fish store and have it tested.

API isn't a bad kit, but it can give false readings if not run properly.

Get a second opinion from a fish store and then move forward.

If they've been in there 2 weeks, your ammonia can't be very high at all (like in the hundredths).
The tank is 3 weeks old. I bought the pair of MochaVincis 1 week into starting the tank. They have been in there for 2 weeks now.

If they've survived this long the ammonia probably isn't that high.

I'd find a different LFS for future purchases.
They obviously don't care much about the welfare of the fish they sell.
They have been doing excellent despite the high test readings. Should I still dose the tank with bacteria? It’s been 3 weeks
