Hi I recently bought this hippo tang.I’ve had it now for about a week now and since I’ve had it it has got some sort of disease I think and also hides at the back of the tank howveer I can’t diagnose it because I can’t find anything similar,I’ve attached some photos. If anyone has any ideas it would be much appreciated

Welcome to Reef2Reef!

Tough to see, but it has a couple of issues. First, do you know the history of this fish? It’s pale head and muted coloration indicates that isn’t newly imported, was it in somebody’s tank for a while? Secondly, pending you being able to get some clearer shots, the fish does have spots. Most likely, it is ich. If so, your only real option would be to move all of the fish to a treatment tank and dose with copper. I can walk you through the process if that is an option for you.
