Ok, well I guess I'll just post here.

1. The minimalist in me would like to see the opacity of the captions on your images reduced. (only on future images uploaded, not your entire library) I made a quick example:

Very minor and may come off as nitpicky, but just wanted to share.

2. It would be cool if you had an image submission page on your website. A person could submit an image upon request from you. There would be a checkbox for the person to give you permission to use the image. Maybe a seperate "credits" page that automatically lists people that uploaded images you've used, etc.
2a. Or, we could make it more geared toward people wanting something ID'd. They would submit the image, then you would receive the image and comments in an email. Lots of possibilities here.

I've had a few others I can't recall at the moment, but let me know what you think.

Mike you totally read my mind. I was trying to think how to do it on desktop. I could also lead a link to a page that had the comments activated and they could upload them. That might be a spam issue unless I make people sign up, so it might just be easier to have a smooth way to send them to me. It would be easy for an app. People could take a picture of it with their phone and send it on in. I was also thinking of questions they could answer as they were sending it. Nothing too elaborate, but like does it move? Does it have legs ?

I didn't have watermarks on any of the thumbnail pictures until I started using other people's pictures. Originally the only pictures I used were my own so there was zero text. I hated messing it up with text. I didn't mind mine "showing up" all over the web, but I felt bad when others' contributions weren't being acknowledged. Maybe I could fade the lionfishlair like you show and bring the copyright of the contributors out just a little more. But not so bold.

I'm also going through all my pictures and changing the font of the text. It's going from this.....

Exactly. An image upload, a drop down box with some descriptors just like you said. Then a little spot for them to write anything specific if they wanted.
I could actually make the whole thing barebones (without styles) and send it to you. I could accomplish all of that with simple php page, including the sending you an email/text message part. And no one would have to sign up (unless you want them to)

I type a handful of words and then sit back and watch them slowly populate on the screen. OMG! This is maddening. It's raining outside, so there's nothing to do. Hubby is gone to work and I'm bored with a sloooooooooow internet and wacky TV. HELP!!!!!!

Even though Wordpress allows limitless customizations... I still have to figure out what to do with those. I'm using a theme Avada, so I didn't have to learn too much in that regard. Let me ask the Avada people how I would go about including stuff.
