You don't want to know... aptasia. Easy to kill at this stage. The main thing is to not leave them too long. They proliferate quickly if left unattended to. Welcome to R2R :)

A peppermint shrimp would eat them right up. Are those whitish spots on your glass moving?

Glad you're here! As others said, Aiptasia. Nothing to fear. Lots of info on here about how do get rid of them. Just remember to do it out of the tank and rinse well so no "babies" get back into the tank. They can be ejected when the Aiptasia are poked.

Pretty much every person with a reef tank deals with aiptasia. They are managed with biological or human manual control.

Yep, look like aiptasia to me too. Take rock out and scrape them off with razor blade and rinse well in new saltwater before sending off to tank again. Or, cover with super glue, rinse, return. Or both!
