How is the color on my chalice. The edges look light. Had it since March. Should I move it closer to light? Or away?

The white ring is usually an indicator of growth. But if you start to see skeleton then it's a problem.

Have you checked your Alk and Calcium lately? I have a plating monti that starts looking like that if the Alk and Calcium get low. It could be receding or growing.
