Probably 6” long and 3” in diameter.

Guess I need to move the dosing pumps into an area of higher flow.

Should I separate the 4 dosing lines? I have the dosing pump set at 10 minute intervals.

WOW

High flow

High flow

High flow!!

As long as the hoses are not touching the water and there is a gap between them they will be fine..

Would you mind if I shared this image?

Hi Tim
I don't mind you sharing at all (as long as I get credit). I don't have high flow going through the sump. I do have an air gap between the hoses and water line. I think I'll move 2 of the water lines into the fuge. What would you suggest?

I dose Triton Core7. So there is Alk, Calcium, Magnesium and trace elements.

The dosing lines are in a weird spot in my sump so I don't see them on a normal basis. I would say it probably started when I started dosing Core7 which is more concentrated. I'm up to 28 ml/day spread out over 24 hours, so only 1+ ml/hour.

Best thing to do is use a small powerhead pointed directly where the liquids are dosed.

I will share the image as a warning on our social media and credit you...

Thanks Tim. What if I placed the output of my GFO reactor near where the liquids are dosed instead of adding another powerhead?

Wow, I'd watch your chemistry now that you've taken that out. I'd guess that as it got bigger it grew faster and faster feeding on the dosing and now that it's been removed more of the chemicals may be available to the tank. Maybe I'm overthinking it but it makes sense to me that it would effect cal and alk levels the most.

Will definitely keep an eye on the alkalinity and calcium.
