I ordered Dr Tims live bacteria and it arrived frozen. This I know is useless and dead now. My question is how cold can it survive in? I need to order replacement, but with temps in the 20s and 30s I am afraid even if its not frozen it might arrive dead. My first ordered we had those harsh days in the negatives so IDK if 20s and 30s should be okay.

Most bacteria - especially nitrifikation bacteria survive very, very low temperatures. Nitrificators are very common in normal soil all over the world. Where I live - during winter time - the soil is frozen down to 0.5 meters . In the spring - they wake up and start to work again. I´m not sure that they are dead. Contact Dr Tims an ask but I rather sure that you will have an answer that i does not matter.

Sincerely Lasse
