But doing this just disperses the flow with the return pump flow and I don't see any movement in my corals

I was hoping to have a sweeping flow directed across the front of my tank, and thus across my corals, but from the horizontal setup (A) it's just too much directed flow

I'm curious if anyone has any success with B, C, or D
Im in A right now, but will be switching to B today. I'll let you know.

I'm running 2 Jeboa SCP-70Ms in "A" with them slightly off set (one slightly closer to the front and other closer to the back but at the same height) just to ensure I get some flow everywhere. I have them set to alternate so each one runs for 18-20 seconds at then shuts off and the other side kicks on so I get some water crashing in the middle also. I tend to have them running around the 4-6 setting out of 10.

So far it seems to work pretty good for a 90G mixed reef tank.

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
