I GOT ER WET!

All in all things went pretty well there were a couple small leaks after sitting for a few minutes.

I have decided to go back and caulk the inside of the tank to ensure a watertight seal.

the walls and side supports held up great

lastly i decided to go with the euro brace like everyone said.

Update:
saw the tank this morning and noticed the caulking is starting to come up at one part of the tank.

Any other suggestions for getting this thing water tight?

I assume i could add more caulking might not have been the cleanest surface to apply on
I am not trying to be a jerk, but trying to fix something done wrong is likely asking for trouble. If you can see areas that are not bonded you can put small amounts of #4 in there and it should wick in to some extent. The joint really should not show any bubbles as these are areas the are not bonded, there for weaker. Are you using 16 for caulking? If so it should not be lifting. While it should seal the joint, No amount of 16 used as caulking is going to make up for a poorly bonded joint. I would probably make some 3/4x3/4 square or triangle braces and bond those inside the joints. That assumes the caulking is not in the way. Clean and dry everything thourghly first.

Cleared out my old aquarium last night and what a process that was..... took me around 3 hours... covered in sand, algae and sweat. Transferee all of my corals and fish to my frag tanks.. hopefully the start up process does not take too long as they moved from an alkalinity around 8.5 directly into 9.5.

Could I just cut 2 or 3 pieces of 3/4” acrylic and run them down the middle of the tank? Solvent weld them to the top?

probabaly a few days late on this reply but if it help my tank is acrylic and same dimensions and on the top they essentially have it braced on each side but on the side up against the sides to hold all that together and minimizes pressur on the sides. And then one in the middle.. i think that would suffice for holding the sides intact as well as keep middle from bowing

I did have another question for you all.

Best and most efficient way to cycle a tank... I’m not looking for fast rather looking for full proof methods besides adding beneficial bacteria of course....

thanks a million!
