how long before they pair?

Just a quick question I can't seem to find a good answer to:

I have 2 ocellaris clowns: a regular and a misbar. The regular has been in the tank for ~6 months and the misbar was added ~40 days ago. They flirt regularly, but still haven't 'paired'. How long does this process usually take? Thanks!
