I agree with the steel straw thing. They are on amazon. These are the ones I have and they are perfect if you have/get the right size hose. Hey, aren't you supposed to be in school right now?

Why can't you frag them? You could probably a new coral from the store if you trade them.

You don't need the base in my experience, just snip the stem as far down as you can on each polyp. Yesterday I accidentally cut just the cap off of one and it was open and happy 5 minutes later.

I'll probably use a straw and razer. Aiptasia x will also be used. How does the straw work.
Attach the straw to the end of the tube. These fit perfectly into the hose I use for changing water. Start the siphon and scrape them off the rock with the metal straw. There is a video somewhere on youtube of someone doing it.
