Born and raised in California and then moved to Canada 15 years ago (I know.....)

Been reefing for about 4 years now and love every second of it. Also very happy that my wife shares most of my enthusiasm when it comes to our tank. My girls also love the tank and help out with it when they can.

I'm running a 50g DT with a 20g fuge/sump but have an 83g starfire tank ready to replace it once we finish our basement and put in a fishroom where the sump and all other goodies go :)

P.S. Is it possible to work on your tank and not have a beer?

Lets see some pics.

Welcome to R2R!!!

What are the dimensions of the 83 gallon?

It is possible to work on your tank and not have a beer, but why would you want to. My fish prefer light beer.

Old tank is a 50g with a 20g sump, T5HOx4, Bubble Magus 3.5, RKL, and a midget reactor with GFO.

The new tank is a 83g 48x20x20 Starfire rimless tank that will have it's own fishroom with a 50g sump, 30g fuge, 20g frag tank, 20g R/O holding tank for water changes, 20g Fresh SW for water changes.
I'll make a build thread as soon as I finish renovating my basement.
