I have an Evo and my fish passed after jumping so I wanted to get something new. I have a decent sized birds nest coral so I decided to go with the humbug damselfish.
I am in no way recommending this fish for anyone who has any sort of community aquarium as it is a very aggressive eater, but for me it works awesome the little guy loves the birds nest and swims in and out of it all day. In fact with the stripes on the fish it can disappear in the birds nest whenever it wishes and at night will sleep in it. My birds nest seems to appreciate it as well and seems to be keeping better growth in the middle. I know most people look at these damselfish as good fish to cycle a tank with, and they do not seem to get a lot of love, but I find the relationship it has with the birds nest fun to watch and I enjoy the fact that it goes crazy for any food I put into the aquarium... So for me I think it is an awesome fish.
