I collect, format as MQTT and dump it right in through MQTT broker (mosquito). HA can poll directly tcp/websokects, etc. But I opted to write the middleware (python) for format control. When I get time, I can share full server topology, I built a deployment document (I tend to lose track of things and forget how I did them otherwise).
I'll have to read up on HA and see what I could do with it. We have one Alexa device but do not make much use of it and I do not like it to be honest. No disrespect.
I have never looked at Hydros Dash -- and understand they have no API -- so not sure how relevant this is to Hydros users.
