Hyposalinity

I can get the Seachem Marine Buffer Wednesday from Amazon. Will the fish be okay until then or do I need to use the sodium bicarbonate to get the ph raised now until I get the Seachem Buffer?

The problem is, I have no way to know if your pH will keep dropping. I’d try adding a little bicarbonate, just to get the pH up to 7.6

Three tablespoons of sodium bicarbonate rose the PH to 7.8. I guess that’s one thing you need to watch with hyposalinity. I will have the Marine Buffer Wednesday. Is 2.47 Coppersafe more effective than 2.25?

That's perfect

2.5 coppersafe is used for active infections, 2.25 is used as a preventative, or for light infections. The reason is there is a bit more risk with some fish in using 2.5 ppm
