So last week I saw a few of these on my rocks, and then upon doing a water change, looked in the back chamber of my aio and saw A TON OF THEM, cleaned a lot of them up and scraped/siphoned out, but I looked again tonight and there’s more- hopefully not a big pest- any ideas?

Not sure what we’re looking at. The small white dots? Appear to be copepods or amphipods. Good guys.

Yes, the white dots. I have pods in my tank, and I’m positive they’re not pods. They look more like small white tubes that are attached to the walls/ equipment/ some rocks.

Hard to tell from pics. Your description would suggest vermetid snails which can annoy corals.

Could also be spirorbid worms. Those are OK. Google both and see what matches what u have.
They don’t really look like either, they have more of a straight tube structure to them, I had one growing on a frag between the coral and the plug, but I was able to take it off the plug with some tweezers. I’ll try and get better pics tomorrow. Thanks for the help-

I second pineapple sponges. Good filter feeders and grow more where it is dark.
Yes , could very well be. OP’s description of a straight tube structure is little confusing. Pineapples look more like the bulb of a turkey baster, or ...a pineapple, but hard to see in pics.

If you are talking about that thing and the ones that look just like it that is 100% without a doubt a pineapple sponge. You can see its flared feathery top and bulb shape. They are a but tubelike and kind of hard if you squish them.

Typical in sumps and not long lived
