This girl was fragged off of a rock which is my favorite way. Very sharp, clean chisel. Hand fed ( no mallet) with a pairing cut removing a sliver of the live rock below the foot.
This allows you to glue that sliver of rock straight to a frag disc or plug, And most of the time, They stay connected.
I get rollers around my tank often. There is no more room for growth on Earl Rock so smaller shrooms that are being being shaded, Often release and roll around. I just scoop them up with a net and put them in a Tupperware in the frag tank with nothing but sand and frag discs. When they connect to either a disc or have a foot full of sand, I glue them.
