I give up, how do you post a picture that you can see? Everything that I try the pic. come up so little that you can't tell what they are. I would love to show off my tank if I could only figure out how.

DONT USE PHOTO SUCKIT

they farking lose photos all the time, use something more reliable such as imageshack.us

To post images, you need a place to host the images. This could be your personal website or one of the image hosting sites such as Photobucket or Imageshack. Once you have the image hosted, you post images in threads by "wrapping" the image URL in image tags. For example:
[ img]http://www.URLforyourphoto[/img ] (note that in your actual post there would be no spaces in the code string)

If you use Photobucket or some other photo-posting site, they typically provide you with the URL wrapped in image tags. Then you simply copy that code string and paste it in your post here at R2R. Be sure you're using the URL for the actual image, not a thumbnail.

As an example, the code string for this image is:

[ img]http://www.gparr.com/photos/albums/userpics/10001/fsdendro01.jpg[/img ]

I added spaces so you could see the code. If I take the spaces out, the R2R site software reads the code correctly and displays the image.

Can you post the full size pic in the threads through imageshack? I have an account and never use it because of that. I never liked the fact that you had to post the thumbnail in the thread and people have to click on it to go to imageshack and view the full size photo.

BTW I have never had photobucket lose a photo in all the years I have been using it. I call user error...

I've never heard anyone complain about Photobucket.

I don't know about Imageshack. If you can display the full image, right click on that image and you should be able to get the image URL. Wrap that URL in image tags and the image should display in a R2R thread. If you can't get a URL for the image, you won't be able to display the image. I wanted to try it with an image from Imageshack, but I have to create an account.

i am sure problems can happen with any site but i'm with you. never had any problem with photobucket and i have been using it since it first was introduced. I dont hink i have ever lost anything. i dont doubt it has happened to some though

its pretty easy to find the issues. there are threads from folks on all the diff forums (im on allot) and they will have a set of photos and magically random ones will dissapear and broken link and the op didnt modify anything on either side. very frustrating and has been happening more and more.

neat idea but wow i would never sleep with that over my head. my tanks make very little noise but not little emough that i could sleep that close to them thats for sure. I guess some might find it to help them sleep but i'm to light of a sleeper

I use tinypic.com But i see you got the pic to work. Great pic and idea. i'm always messing with my tank so that would mess my bed up. haha
