I have two salt tanks

I used to be once a week but this new peninsula being out in the open vs my lagoons in a corner I'm cleaning daily and often twice lol.
ooh, that does not sound like a fun time.

If found it's actual easier if i do it daily because the algae comes off really easy so it's a quickie. If I let it go a few days I have to spend time scraping.

This is the only downsize to my gyres on the sides of the tank. Its slightly obnoxious to remove them to scrape, but if I don't its a sub-par job at best.

That's one of my favorite things about the orcas. Nothing against the glass and I can just lift them out of the holder and scrape then set them back in without having to power them off. I used to just scrape around the vortechs and only cleaned properly when i rotated the wet sides out for cleaning.
