I would like any and all people to be warned of the upper half of Indiana. This is a melting pot of the people who didn't make it in the states before this...not all of us are these people, but the general population is bored, not creative enough to un-bore themselves, and the culture diversity is limited to Rappers, Emo kids, and fake punks. There are a few metal heads, but you won't find many foreigners outside of the gas stations or the rare foreign exchange students, so there's not much action in the diversity factor.

Now that excludes Indy..and maybe the southern half...which is a few hours away. My town is the birthplace of Cole Porter, which is encouraging, maybe. I've tried rounding artists up to try to open some club or organization but it gets as far as "oh I didn't think that was today."

The sad part is that I have went on vacation and practically been handed jobs, which i should have just said screw indiana at those times. It must be my "not from here" odor. I have no accent, like I literally sound like I am from my own part of the country. Maybe that gives people the impression i am a cyborg?!

Indiana should be called "Blah-world."

That's the plan when she graduates. We can't get financial aid out of state for school so we are stuck here for the duration of the education. :)

Do not take this personal but sounds like you making a bunch of excuses.
I went from 90 thousand a year to a lot less my family needed to eat, I had bills to pay after 25 years on the same job I found myself umemployed. I would and I will do anything to meet the needs of my family even if it ment stripping or flipping burgers its bringing in money. I back to making good money again

Yeah, they are excuses, by definition, of reasons I am in this situation lol. I don't have kids, and both of our parents get us odd jobs if things are really grim. We are both still young, so I do have a little room to be picky long term. Trust me, I have no opposition to flipping anything. I worked pizza forever. If Chrysler had a better application process i would be there now making transmissions but that's drawing straws until I'm lucky enough to get on the 15 minute window that only allows x number of applicants and half the state is siting in the same boat waiting.

I'd say your first step to getting a job would be to get off the internet all day and start applying everywhere. What are you over qualified to do? seems like you spend too much time posting on reef forums and not enough time working on being employed. do you have any marketable skills?

Dashiki! That's a great idea haha...I am not on as much as it looks. iPhone allows for quick posting and stuff. Don't worry in actually quite a busy person and I do have apps everywhere in town short of the police station lol.

Yeah the cruise ship would be beneficial to the coral reefs. Not...hahaha. I would feel so bad if I played the theme song to a coral wreck, but I guess someone would have to. That and I wouldn't have a tank and be able to produce the experiments I do.

How about I hire 1 person for every type of animal that is a specialist on only that animal? Better pick a common one if you want good
