My IceCap 3K Gyre freezes up and stops spinning after a few minutes if I use zero percent
in my program. I have cleaned this pump with no improvement. Is there any solution besides
to never use a 0% in the program? I like running the pump from 0% up to 20% then to 0%
Any suggestion?

Here is a video that might show this better

Thank you
Steve

Well, it is an ICEcap... :)

I don't trust my MaxSpect Gyres at lower speeds - they seem to require more than the minimum 10% in order to start up. As you noticed in the video, once they are moving, they can do so at lower speeds, but going from 0% to moving always seems to be when they get stuck on me.
Oddly; not all of them are like this. I have 4 Gyres and only 1 of them (currently) has this issue. The two in my DT were purchased at the same time, ran the same, and are cleaned and rebuilt the same. One works great; the other doesn't always start up from a feed mode.

Sorry that doesn't really help you, Steve. You might want to contact CoralVue support on this one; I've yet to see a definitive answer on this issue myself.

Thank you for your reply.
I have two Gyres and like you said, I also have one that works perfect going to zero speed and one that freezes up
as shown in the video. I'll contact CoralVue and post what they say.

I heard back from Coralvue support today.
They said: We will send you a new motor block that will fix the issue.
Nice, I will post an update once that arrives.
